On September 11, 2001, at 9:30am, a company was being signed into existence as one of our nation’s most historical events was occurring. Up to that point, three brothers worked together at a family-owned business selling leisure products, including high-end gas grills. One of the brothers noticed a void in the marketplace of safe and effective cleaning products for grills and decided to start a company dedicated to providing such products to the masses. Naming the company in honor of their grandfather, Bryson Industries was born. Since then the company has expanded into multiple markets, providing safe and effective cleaning solutions through most mass merchants, independent retailers, and wholesale distributors.
In 2014, the brothers noticed another void in the marketplace – there were no safe, effective solutions to address odor-causing particles. These problems show up in hundreds, if not thousands of different ways, in all areas of commerce, manufacturing, and indoor environments worldwide. They set out to find a solution to these problems. Working with the brightest minds in chemical engineering, they developed products that could not only eliminate many types of odor-causing particles, but also prevent their return for months or even years. Shortly thereafter, ElimiShield® was created to provide these products to a multitude of industries.
One environment in great need of ElimiShield® products are specialty healthcare clinics and hospitals. Ben Gable, who was working with Bryson installing application equipment and ElimiShield® products in these clinics, gained a full understanding of how these products work and their potential use. Using this knowledge, Ben created Signal Hygiene Services, LLC and sought to provide odor remediation services in residential homes, commercial buildings, and healthcare facilities in the southern area of North Carolina. Ben discovered that by fusing ElimiShield® products to a strict application standard, they could produce consistent results that other companies are not able to achieve. Ben and Bryson then worked together to produce several customized blends of cleansers and degreasers, along with specialized application equipment, systems and protocols to develop the Signal Hygiene System. These systems and protocols have been fine-tuned and documented by using the training, extensive experience, and knowledge of the odor remediation industry of one of the three Bryson brothers. Signal Hygiene, LLC now operates as a parent company with multiple franchise locations utilizing the same strict protocols taught through classroom and on-the-job training to each technician that represents Signal Hygiene. Each franchise owner and technician must pass classroom tests and job-site observations before being certified to operate privately.
The Signal Hygiene System has experienced success in multiple environments, combating dozens of root-cause issues, proving our products and protocols effective through clinical and real-world applications. The system can be tailored to any environment to solve odor problems never before attainable. HVAC equipment became a focal point of the company, eradicating any type of odor-causing particles from any size air handler unit and the duct work system that provides the air we breathe, and their success has been astounding. They have eliminated problems that other companies had attempted, but failed to address on multiple occasions. Through continuous inspection, they have verified the results are lasting well beyond even their own expectations, and the customers couldn’t be happier. One of their specialties is eliminating what is known as Dirty Sock Syndrome in residential and commercial units. By incorporating the Signal Hygiene System and the long-term benefits of ElimiShield® Air Filters, they comfortably offer a warranty to residential homeowners guaranteeing the odors will not return. Contact us or your local franchise for more details on how we can help you solve any odor problems.
The parent company, Signal Hygiene, LLC, was formed to offer franchises across the United States to share the brand, system, and products in other markets around the country. The company will provide training in both classroom and “on-the-job” sessions, business operations, specialty equipment, raw materials and chemicals used, and other related products to franchisees. If you are interested in a franchise, please contact us.
D Lombardo says: “The service provided was worth the money spent. For over 20 years our HVAC vents had never been cleaned out and the dust and dirt that accumulated was unbelievable. There was no telling how much of that was being thrown back in the air and we were breathing it in. Brady spent the entire day cleaning the entire vents and duct work and filter. The job was done right, and the difference is amazing. The air is cleaner that we breath; for some reason my monthly electric bill is lower; and there is a fresh clean smell when the air or heater unit is running. I highly recommend SignalHygiene. They don’t just come out with a vacuum cleaner. They have the tools and time to do it right.”
B Hill says: “I am a property manager responsible for over 150 units. Our company manages over 2,000. Signal Hygiene is our go-to for inspection and remediation of all things “M” – mildew, musty smells, moisture issues, or mutt (and feline) odors. Brady is extremely easy to work with, responsible, and knows how to discuss things with both us, and the resident! With nothing more than an email he is on the job, scheduling his inspection, getting an estimate back quickly with pictures or videos, and stands behind his work. My job is easier thanks to Signal Hygiene!”
Anonymous says: “I’m a Mechanical Engineer at a hospital. We had some significant issues in a facility and tried many companies and so-called solutions to fix the problem but nothing had any lasting results. Then I tried The Signal Hygiene guys. After a single treatment, the problem was completely gone and hasn’t come back in over two and half years. They’re discrete, usually performing services during third shift, the technicians are unmarked as is their trucks and trailers, and they don’t talk to other staff or patients. These guys truly produce amazing results.”
